Ryå bridge

The bridge over the Ryå is a simple and unspectacular piece of concrete over a “river” which as been created to drain the water out of the Store Vildmose, the big wild moor, in Northern Jutland. It is every bit a piece of rationality, almost a commodity.

If there wasn’t the soft light of the sunrise on that morning, that turned it’s blendingly white colour into a warm reddish hue of rose, backdropped with a sky speckled with clouds, and the waters of the Ryå, risen by the autumn rainstorms nearly up to the edge of the bridge.

And so it turned into a really nice view on this specific morning.
